Great photos! :)

It never ceases to amaze me how easily a grass snake could pass for a garter, by the way. ;)

Grass snakes are Garter snakes. They just don't know it :D

You're probably right, the only real difference is that grass snakes lay eggs. But even the number of offspring (and their size) is practically the same. :D

Wow, really awesome pics Fons!! I looooove that atratus, and I also love the pics of the fulvis facing the camera. And, does the sirtalis have larger eyes than other garters?? He looks all eye in that pic, but it's endearing.

You mean the sirtalis, black? Looks like it, yeah.
I noticed that too. But only when I saw the pictures. In real I had not seen it.
