Here was the first emergency call of the day that came into the clinic where I work today... the owner of this horse was so hystercical we couldn't understand her very well, and this is what the vet found when he got there:

The owner has no idea how this happened, as she found him like this this morning. He must have fallen on this stick somehow. The stick went in 5-6 inches, and they are not yet sure if there is any damage to his bowels or urinary tract, but he is recieving all the treatment he can.
Ths horse's name is Bud, and he has been this lady's best friend for over 20 years. So please (Stefan exempt!) send prayers, good karma, or whatever you do for Bud's full recovery... he's a sweet old boy, I've met him, and he does not deserve to suffer so!!!
