my pugets seem to be snuggling a lot but i dont know if they mated is there any way to tell?

There is no definite way to be sure (yet) Reed, if you don't actually see it happen.

Remember Reed, 1 boy 2 girls. Lol. Hopefully they did, the sooner the better. Good luck with them. Thanks for all the info you've given me.

LOL!! Well, Reed, I think the best way to tell if your garter is pregnant is to look for the babies crawling around the tank... :D
(That's how it works with the goats, who can be tricky: you know she's preggers for sure when you see two little feet emerging)

thats interesting, I thought you would know that possibly she's preg. because the male has been mounting her..........:rolleyes::D unless he shoots blanks of course........;)

i have the same problem, all the snakes are active but i have not observed any breeding activity. either it hasn't happened or love just isn't in the air. i guess time will tell...

im gone half the day so it could of well happened so im not worrying

With my marcianus I am still seeing daily courtship behaviour (maybe less so recently) but I haven't seen them joined. I guess unless you actually witness it, you can only hope the female begins to put weight on.:rolleyes:
