We just switched from analog to digital and the TV I have isn't compatible. No big loss, I didn't watch it much anyway and it's easier to download the shows that I'm interested in. I have one running in the background right now. :p

The module I am on now is on virtual environments in education really interesting stuff...am touching on it in my dissertation!

its an online world...you are a cartoon character....its abit like sims, but no robots, all real life people to interact with....you can practice your language skills for real, you can teach there, which is especially good for engineering as you have a 3d modelling and simulation ability thrown in...you can use it as a socializing thing, or there are some really seedy areas where you can play out your fantisies...or at least thats what I think they were doing!!the cartoon characters do what you tell them to, you interact by using emotions and speach..
anyway, I am just learning at the moment...so its pretty good fun!
