The first: Thamnophis cyrtopisis cyrtopsis.
A nice pile of cyrtopsis, getting a nice than.

http://gallery.dierenparadijs.be/data/500/medium/224_2487_klein.JPG
And this female is constantly under the spot, so let's hope the best of it!

a few close-ups:

They were also lying underneath the spot.

And the male already did a try to mate, but he has a lot to learn! A bit to low in my opinion.
http://gallery.dierenparadijs.be/data/500/medium/225_2580_klein.JPG
But they are having a great time together.

And my most secretive ones: Thamnophis hammondii hammondii.

I did some tries, James. I added a lot of green and a lot of hiding spaces in the enlosure. I see them a lot more now, because they feel a lot more secure. But it's quite hard to take nice pictures of them with all the green:D

And the fifth: Thamnophis atratus atratus.
They are in a temporary enclosue in plastic, so the pics are of less quality... But still they are beautiful animals.

http://gallery.dierenparadijs.be/data/500/medium/225_2569_klein.JPG
The are very good eaters :D.
http://gallery.dierenparadijs.be/data/500/medium/225_2579_klein.JPG

Very nice photos. I hope you'll have success breeding them. :)
Thanks Stefan, with a bit of luck I'll have cyrtopsis, concinnus and marcianus. Can't wait!

I tried out something for the pics. I put a sheet of toilet paper before the flash, to lessen it a bit ( not all pics though ). Some of the pics were to dark, but I liked the result overall :) .

I think it worked great, judging by the results. :) I've had problems with the flash, especially with macro shots, I have to try that trick myself.

I have tried this before, using fine white muslin. It does soften the flash.:)

They are very easy feeders here and always visible ( sunbathing under the lamp ). Very squittish though if you go in the enclosure, but I never handle my snakes ;)
