Sweet. Cichlids?
I have a 50 gallon tank with goldfish, but I have a 150 gallon tank and stand sitting in my sideyard that was given to me. If it cleans up good, I might set it up, and put some cool tropical fish in it- or reptiles. Havent decided yet.

Hi,
wonderful fishes. By the way, the collegues from another forum told me, that the tank of the fish must be ten times bigger as the fish. Is that true? I think it's up of the fish.

bigger than that
cichlids need a huge amount of water
they poop a lot
and they're territorial

My father-in-law had cichlids for a while, but he ended up giving them away, because they were actually quite vicious with each other!! And they do need lots of water--now that he's replaced them with a variety of tropical fish, he can keep a lot more, and they all seem happy.
