I brought out my valley garters and the hypermelanistic and gray wanderings in the photos. Hopefully they will get busy!!!

10 inches? My girls are up to 16 already. Am I over-feeding mine, perhaps?

no, you are fine...mine is just a little finicky...eating pinkies, but not every feeding. once a week...sometimes skipping a week.

BTW. For those members who are new to the forum, Cariad is our forum mascot... named by CrazyHedgehog (Inge) after she won the 'Guess the Number of Babies' competition. So, although Don cares for Cariad, she belongs to us all!:D

That is a good looking terrestris, Don. You have to show us a few pics after she's shed. ;)

How are they compared to vagrans? Aggressive feeders?

if I could get a male I would have babies available.... she isn't getting ready to shed..the flash reflected off her lens and makes it look that way. she is a good feeder, only time I have had problems is in the winter when she wants to hibernate. She is wild caught, I got her about 5 years ago. she loves to musk me every time I pick her up...

Those are all great pictures!! The attitude just makes Cariad cuter, I think!
And BTW, some of our not-so-new members (myself!) didn't know about the mascot thing yet. Thanks for that info James!:)
