It was one of my Brazilian Rainbow Boas that escaped last summer when I left the cage unlatched:o. All 4 got out, but I found 3 of them right away. I was sure with how cold it has been that she was either dead or one of the neighbors had found it by now. Anyhow, I went down through the garage to put the gabage out & it was lying on the cold cement barely moving. I put her in a cage with heat tape running along the bottom & she is moving a bit more now. I hope she survives!

Great that you found her -- maybe some of our other members with MIA snakes will take hope from your adventure!

Not what I was expecting! It's not every day you find a brb in your garage here in the U.S.. I hope she fully recovers from her ordeal. The fact that she's alive at all is a hopeful sign...

Sad news:( When I checked on her this morning, she had died over night. She was really thin when I found her & can hardly believe she survived that long & then not make it after she was found. I am really bumbed about it. It was my fault for not latching the cage in the first place. I think I would of rather not found her & assumed she was alright somewhere out there. Now, I have to deal with my wife again to convince her that I would never leave the rattlesnake cages unsecure. I need to take the same precautions with the "harmless snakes" that I do with the rattlers to make sure this never happens again!

Ohhhhh BUMMER. I'm so sorry Jerry. That's like such a cruel tease, to get her back and then loose her. :-(

So sorry. :(
I had a baby corn snake that escaped from his cage around August, and I still haven't found him (alive or dead). And did I search everywhere! It is so sad, and I feel terrible about it. But at least now I know to duct tape all of the the holes in the cage lids, even the smallest ones.

Again, sorry for your loss. :(
