I'd planned on picking up a pair of these in the spring, but I happened to see this pair at the White Plains NY show yesterday. Had to get 'em. I still may pick up another pair as planned. :) Their names are Neptune and Skyy.
They're only 4.1g and 4.4g, but I got them each to take a half of a lengthwise-split pinky this morning (scented with Ruby-Red).

Thanks for the great comments, folks. :)
Has anyone else got the red-phase Pugets? Or is it just me?:DI certainly don't. I have about 75 snakes, but only 4 of them are garters. I'm a garter newb. ;)

Feeding update:
These guys were madly cruising from the time I got them home Saturday until I fed them Sunday morning. Their fish-scented half-pinks left sizeable lumps in them, and they actually chilled-out for about 24 hours. Then the lumps were gone, and they've been madly cruising since. So a few minutes ago, I was preparing their meal, and I thought to myself: 'I'll bet these little monsters will take them unscented'. Sure enough, they didn't care. They immediately scarfed down their unscented half-pinks.
I've given my other baby garter pair (Eastern black-neckeds) 15 scented pink meals each. They're voracious feeders too. I guess I'll try unscented on them next feeding. :)

Thanks Serpentine! I just fed these guys their second unscented pink-half meals, and they viciously attacked and ate them. In fact, the female's feeding response was so vicious that she bit and held onto herself! I've only seen crazed kingsnakes do this. But she figured out her mistake soon enough. :)

Good to see you here. With my mod duties at CS, I don't get to hang out here as much as I would like. It's too bad, because the people here are friendly and really know their stuff. At least since I'm a relative garter newb (though I kept them decades ago), they don't really need MY advice on anything. ;)
We need to get you some garters! :D
