Probably the one of the most obvious questions ive ever asked, but im not good at math word problems so i need some help with this. When an ad says $60 plus shipping does that mean $60+shipping or shipping+snake=$60. lets not make this a long thread either im embarrased enough as it is.:D

It means the snake is $60, then you add whatever the shipping is directly to you. So if the shipping turned out to be $20, then it's $60 + $20 = $80 total.

Dont mind to ask these things here!
I´ve heard this question several times before, but about prices that won´t pay an animal transort!
Shipping animals is quiet expensive in Germany , 35€ for one parcel.

yeah i can get 2x as many snakes goin to shows than trying to ship snakes that i cant even see what they are. To me seeing somethin in front of you in the flesh is beleiving.

true
however
the quality of many species at our local expo is often not worth the $45.- savings
in fact - the rescue animals are in better shape than many
sometimes it's worth the shipping cost to buy from a reputable breeder

Well of course if you were getting a snake shipped from a well known dependable breeder the extra money would be no sweat and there would be no worries of a DOA or wrong snake. But there are alot more Unknown companies out there then known. At least for me.:D

it's true
and in PA you're got better expos to go to
the only reason I wish I had a car . . .

Personally, I think it's always best to buy from someone you know, if you can. I know this isn't always possible with less readily available species, but I have frequently been disappointed buying from strangers.

Preferably, I even go to the person I'm buying the snakes from. I can see how they keep them and I get to know them more personnaly. :)

Thats a pretty good idea snaky, but if they lived that close to me i would just pick up the snake. My parents dont like drivin me far places just for me, especially if it concerns reptiles

I'm lucky to be on my own already, I drive wherever I want to go :)
Good luck with finding some good breeders to ship to yo.

Mine cost me a tank full of petrol and a cup of coffee, isn't that right, James?
Worth every penny... had 4 babies delivered , two all the way from Holland and the others from "up North". And got to meet James, who got to meet Gijs and Sabine, who got to meet Alan Francis and Lulu. :D
