Well .... I can see it becoming an unhealthy obsession that's going to take up my flat if I'm not careful .... ;) I'll have garters everywhere once squiggles is old enough to be sexed .... ahem .... :p squiggles wins the cuteness factor I'd say ;)

I have to agree! I know a couple of good hairdressers if you're interested, Greg!;)

You said you came back to snakes after a three year break.... what were you keeping before?

What part of Scotland are you from? I lived up there for a while (a couple of times), on the East coast (Arbroath).:)

Hi Greg! Don't sell yourself short! ;)

And don't even think about using James' hairdresser, he is a little brutal with the scissors! The hairdresser, not James. Not in a Sweeney Todd kind of way though.

Eek, you must think you have landed in a madhouse... :D

I know that feeling, Greg. I left the hobby for a few years (untill Feb this year) but I found I was having nightmares about un-fed or un-cleaned snakes! I had to come back to get a good night's sleep!:D
Welcome here, hope you stick around.

Be warned Greg... Garters are seriously addictive. I came back to the hobby in February (as I said) thinking I might enjoy a viv with a pair of Garters...... Ten months and 22 Garters later, I have major plans for '08!

Can't be sure ... but he was CB '07 and is approx 6.5-7" long ... been feeding trout until I'm certain he could handle a pinkie :). What does this make him??? I've never started them from this size before  very squiggly to handle .... hence the name .... what do people suggest for this anyway ... should I leave regular handling until he is a little bigger? ... I received my first musking yesterday

Oops, James, I just remembered who your hairdresser is. Do you think she'll forgive me? Shouldn't post late at night, danger of writing before thinking. :o

Lets see how long it takes Greg to get dragged along with us addicts. We are in a place where one more is never enough. :D

Hi Greg, welcome to the forum!

I have 6 checkered garter babies, so when I saw your pics I exclaimed, "hey Squiggles looks just like mine!" Lol. Now my roommate thinks I'm nuts. :p

And so naturally, I think Squiggles is adorable, lol.

Well, very cool that you have a band. My boss is lead singer of a band, but they do covers of 60's and 70's rock. I think he's so cool... vet by day, rocker by night. :-)

I had a vet that had a band, "Dr. Pete and the Heart Worms" lol.

ever since I did the western part of my medical training I've thought "Eddie Bolus and the Swirling Chyme" would make a great band name
or "Hostile Mucus"

Lol :D he's growling in a very friendly fashion I assure you :p lyrics can be found on the music player on the page. My students always come away very surprised when they see the page. I'm no rocking vet  I'm a normally 'well behaved' English lecturer lmao.
