i wokeup this morning too find that my snake had escpaed and ive hunted high and low for him , but cant seem to find him , i have a dog who is usually ok with the snake but i may fear the worst :O

Put a couple of heat sources around the house, then check them every once in a while to see if your snake has come out and stayed near the warmth. Good luck finding him.

ive been trying all day too find him and yet stil no joy , hes in the house somewhere but i just cant see him at all , hope i find him though because ill be real gutted if i dont , then ll have to get another one :(

But let's not not hi-jack this thread..... Robert wants to find his snake.

Try leaving bait (small amounts, so as not to fill the snake up) and stand vigil. Patience is the key for a quick recovery.:)

And you can also try putting flour or something around the food to "track" the snake.:)

Another trick is plastic grocery bags. Place them where you think the snake may wander and when you hear the crinkle, you know where it is. Good for corners and behind sofas, etc. If it had easy access to the kitchen or a warm dryer in the laundry room, it could crawl up in there, too. I have a friend who just found her corn snake after 3 weeks, lurking up under the dryer. Crazy critters.
