I haven't been to crater lake since I was about 10. That's not how I remember it at all. Of course, most of my crater lake memories are of feeding cheerios to chipmonks. lol Guess it's time to go back and take another look :)

On a side note, I just got back from a local 7-11. the girl standing in line ahead of me had what must have been 20 - 40 piercings. All above the neck. It was a bit overkill. Pretty girl, but it was a turn-off. I mean, that bordered self-mutilation.

I have my tongue and lip pierced and my ears are 5/8ths. I USED to have both nostrils, both eyebrows, top lip, bottom lip, tongue and 6 in each ear. And hot pink hair. No tattoos since those are permanent. Used to be the Goth girl. Got too old for all the silliness. And sick of answering questions all day about it!

You sick and twisted individuals! Of course, I say that with love. Now if I could just figure out how to use my digital camera after 5 years of having it, I could show you some great pics. Still can't figure the friggen thing out. It seems to have a mind of it's own. Just tried taking pics with it and all it does is beep at me and shows a bunch of symbols on the screen that seem to need a qualified expert in ancient languages to interpret, even if you have the manual. Frack! I give up.

Still cannot figure out how to make a simple phone call on most cell phones either. pathetic, I know. give me a pile of computer parts and I'll put it together, and install/troubleshoot software, or even write apps for it, but I cant figure out a friggen cell phone or digital camera. Go figure. When I figure it out (not really, but when I get lucky and it works) I will post pics of myself with Jewels, my milk snake.

Okay I'll bite.

No piercings except for ears. 1 tattoo of a pictish style horse that I drew myself. ( I'm extremely picky about any artwork. I've seen so many BADLY DONE horse tattoos! ) I'm mostly a tomboy. You can't get me in a dress unless its medieval or hippie style. I LOVE riding my horse in a historical dress just for all the attention I get.

I don't know how this will turn out but I'll give it a try. I may have to get hubby to steal/borrow a laptop from work to get this done. Be patient.

Yup, that's Maya, she's kinda heavy for a "cravaticus", but you can really take her everywhere, she's as pretty as an accessory, as she is a well behaved kid.

Hondos are great, but garters interact with humans much more than Hondurans. I don't neglect my Hondos, but the garters take much more of my time these days.

The brown suits you. The red tint could well be the camera picking up colour from the wood around you, looks like it has a red tint that has tinted the light from the camera flash (or the light-source coming from the right).

You get an idea of someone in your head when you don't know what they look like...your mind forms an image of that person so that you have something to reference when you think of the person when you are chatting with them...then when you finally find out what they look like, it can often be so different than the image you had in your head. I realize I have images in my head for all the friends on here that I haven't seen pics of. Chantel was not far off from the image I had created of her. Wayne was very far off. Nate you were too...I imagined you as having brown hair and being very skinny and looking like a science nerd...lol! No offense...I like science nerds.

That's too cool! I once found a falcon with an injured wing at a local park. I called our humane society (they deal with wildlife too) and they basically told me to kill it. I ended up bringing it into an organization that helps injured wildlife and they told me they'd contact me when they release it so I can take part. I never heard from them and suspect they just put it down. :(


On another note, it is nice to be able to put faces to names.

Sorry to hear about your experience Kim, Most Vets and rescue centres don't have much idea when it come to Raptors. Finding a good Raptor vet that you can trust is hard. Most injured Raptors don't usually make it back into the wild. They have to be 110% fit or their chances of survival are slim. Unfortunately you can't keep them all and a line has to be drawn. Sad but true. :-(
On another note - Thankyou! I am very passionate about Falconry but this isn't the place to discuss it, there are other forums for that. ;)

Thanks, most people have told me I suit it better short and it is soooooooooooo much easier to wash than when it was long :D

I hate having my photo taken, often because it means standing and looking into a bright light without sunglasses (which really hurts my eyes). Anyway, I meant to post this pic up a while back as it's two forum members for the price of one.

It's one that John had another patient take of us on his camera when I visited him in hospital. He's the one with terminal leukaemia, I'm the miserable looking bloke stood next to him.

I like the blue! :D Even though it came out badly compared to what it was supposed to be. The bleach burned me really bad. Bleach has never done that before. it was supposed to be more vibrant blue... but now I know not to buy Splat hair colour. :) If any of you want to colour your hair something rainbowy don't use splat.
