You have some beautiful Garter snakes, Don. Do you still have the big melanistic featured in 'Pics of you'?

thanks!!! :D I sure do...she is in brumation right now....the new eastern I just got needs to fatten up a bit and he will join her in brumation. He is supposed to be het for malenistic. I sure hope so!!!!

I have a pair of '07 melanistic Easterns now...... coming along nicely. I hope to breed from them '09.

Cool! Love the melanistics!! I saw them for the first time years ago and HAD to have some! my old pair passed away. I got this big girl and now hopefully will have tons of little black babies!!!

Great pictures, Don. I particularily like the pose in the first picture. It looks like she's hiding and thinks you don't see her.

Very interessting to see some further photo of your het. amel. red sideds.
My amel. female has left brumation yet.
When I cleaned up her encolsure, I´ve found her last skin it was 17 inch.
One of the males shed too last week, the skin was 12 inch.
