Frankie, you may not have a snake yet but you sure are coming up with some fun and interesting threads! Around here we love threads where we can post about all kinds of stuff, even if it doesn't involve snakes! It just gives us a chance to babble and see who'll listen!!
Actually, in Canada we celebrate our Thanksgiving the first Monday of October, so it's long gone for me, but I can still tell you what I'm thankful for..............

my family and friends, my health, my snakes, this forum and all the wonderful people who make it the way it is! And right at this very moment I'm thankful that the rain from the last 2 days is clearing and the sun is shining in my window!:)

Thank you, anji1971! That was very nice of you! And I'm very happy that the weather is cleared up. :) I didn't know that Thanksgiving came that early for Canadians! That's really cool. And CrazyHedgehog, you're right: I'm sure we are all thankful for everything! I mean, after all, the best thing in life is living. :D

I'm not thankful for much, since I have this silly idea that there are no truly unselfish acts. :) So whatever I benefit from, was never intended to benefit me specifically, but is merely a by-product of somebody elses selfishness.

I'm thankful for Stefan's cynicism... even though the amusement and pleasure it gives me is only a bi-product of his own self-indulgence.;)

I am thankful most of my snakes are not escape artists
I am thankful I don't have to eat thanksgiving dinners every day
I am thankful for a bunch of other things
I am thankful for thamnophis.com
Fons - they gave me a "kill ugly radio" beer - it's got the cover of "absolutely free" as a label - shall I save you the bottle?
and I am thankful to Mikhaila for the use of her laptop, which she is kicking me off now
happy thanksgiving all

I'm thankful for my wife of 17 years, and our two awesome daughters. I'm thankful for the monsterous turkey we ate today and the 1/2-hour nap I took on the couch afterward with my youngest daughter, and even though it sounds corny... I'm thankful for you guys and this forum that Jason resurrected and improved. Best wishes,

Rick
