my newly bought snake nearly bite me i was shocked that the striked me that far about 15" far is my distance from herbut she still manage to jump that far:eek: good thing i dodged it i wasnt expecting that

Since you don't really know what type of snake you're dealing with, it might be a good idea to wear gloves until you find out.

My 5 foot gopher snake got me with a lightning fast strike a while back from 2 feet away- tagged my hand perfectly, bled from 5 places. I was slightly angry, but at the same time I was very impressed with her speed and accuracy . She's been waiting over 4 years to get a piece of me.:)

regano, how about searching snake pics on the internet and see if you find any that look like your snake

Regan, I would want to make very certain that I didn't get bitten until I knew what type of snake I was dealing with! We don't want to lose you before we see pics of your new acquisition!:rolleyes:
