I have not been around the last few days so I do not know what I have missed. I will sit down tomarrow & read some post.
I was called into work for modified duty starting Wednesday morning @4:30am:eek:. I went out on the route with one of the garbage men. I put flyers on the doors of the houses & pulled toters out to the street so he could dump them. I have not worked since the end of August because I had reconstructive surgery on my left wrist, so I am out of shape! My legs are killing me & I am tired. However, as it turns out, I am scheduled for vacation next week! So I will be off again for Thanksgiving week. I think I like being off work...LOL! Not supposed to go back to regular duty til December 18th, but I am scheduled for another vacation the following week:rolleyes:(Christmas) I wish I could just retire:D
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Jerry

DonŽt know how many years IŽll have to go because our government is changing the rules for retirement.
Maybe IŽll have to work untill IŽm 70.

The Italians (Garbage Company) contract is 84 & out to get full retirment benifits. That is; your age + years work have to equal 84 years. Since I didn't officially work for them til I was 35, I have to work til I am 65:(
However, we have great benifits & all the Teamsters get paid over $30+ an hour. I do not think I could make that anywhere else. I just have to put up with all the freaks in San Francisco:p

I think we in the UK now have to work until we're 70 too. By the time I get there, they may have moved it to 75! I guess 'they' just want us to work until we drop.

love your dogs
are you sure they're dogs though?
there's something about them that reminds me of the Weasley twins

Nice James, very nice indeed :D
I imagine 'freak' may be a word used to describe someone whom is perceived to be 'different' from the person using the term. 'Different' as in 'not the same' ... no more, no less then the person using the term ... :)

Well... Danny and Riley have helped me find my neighbor's escaped snake --- twice!
For some reason, when his CA King gets out of his house, it tends to wander into our dog pen... and the boys raise the alarm and let me know it is in their yard!

That'll definitely be cause for celebration. Maybe we should all meet online at a predetermined time in 2010 to mark the occasion with the most members online at one time in honor of Sid. Keep us posted .

since it'll be in spring or early summer why don't we have an in-the-flesh celebration/convention in Matitoba?

No doubt about it. They probably do it despite the punishment they may receive if they get caught.
