o and u have ur ball python in such a high enclosure i heard that stresses out balls a lot, i would put it in something like 34"x17.5x5.5 sterilite tub and drill a couple holes in it for air (it makes them feel alot safer) and use a underpad heater if u get the tub

well ok i was wrong the hight thing is for htachlings but read this
Cage size: Ball pythons require a secure, well-ventilated cage. A glass aquarium with a secure ventilated top (screen wire or perforated metal) makes a satisfactory cage. Plastic storage boxes, with numerous perforations for ventilation, can be satisfactorily used to maintain ball pythons. Hatchling ball pythons do best in an enclosure with about 40 square inches of floor space; often, if placed in too large an enclosure, a hatchling may be insecure and fail to feed. Sub-adult ball pythons do best given 120-200 square inches of floor space. Older adults require at least 400-600 square inches of floor space. Most adults could live out their lives quite happily in an enclosure the approximate size of a 20-gallon-long aquarium.
they need more much more floor space then hight

I'm not sure what kind you have, I'd have to look through all your old posts to see pics, I know you have at least one eastern (t. s. sirtalis) and you mentioned some having red spots, which I think could be a couple of different types. And not to mention, I'm not exactly a pro at the identification game yet! As for all the numbers, they are used to describe what sex and species you have. for example:
1.1.0 t.s sirtalis would mean you have 1 male, 1 female and no juveniles of Eastern garter. There are a few threads going that explain that further, I'm still learning it myself. It does look kind of cool at the bottom of your signature to have all that! You should try to figure it out for yours, you have quite the collection!!:)

Brandon, your larger two Garters are Thamnophis sirtalis parietalis Red Sided Garters. As you already know, the smaller one is an Eastern T. s. sirtalis.

heres some pics of my snakes
my new 100% het albino corn snake,,hes beside one of my normalsNice snakes! That corn snake with your normal is a homozygous amelanistic (aka albino) corn, not a heterozygous (het) albino. It is expressing amelanism, not just carrying the gene in het form. :)

Thanks. :D
One day, when people say the name
"Munson," they're gonna think "winner."
Just like DiMaggio is to baseball...
or "Unitas" is to football.
That's what "Munson" will be to bowling.

is there a difference between albino and het albino?
Roy Munson

is there a difference between albino and het albino?
Yeah, there's a difference. A het albino would only be carrying the amelanism/albino gene. It wouldn't be expressing amel/albino. Your corn has red eyes, so you know that it is expressing amel/albino. It IS an amel/albino. :)

perhaps two different alleles for albinism?
I'm not that good with this genetic stuff . . .

if he's 100% het, both parents carry the gene and passed it on to her. If both parents albino genes are on the same allele, then most babies will be albinos, all will carry the genes. If they are from different strains...for example my nebraska albino and xmas albino, the genes are on different alleles so all the babies carry both albino genes but look normal...hence the 100% het.

ok good example,,,this snake is for sure pink and white,,,no orange or any other color,,,and the eyes are pink also,,,so im sure its a pure breed albino so thats why i thought when he said 100% het albino i was thinking 100% albino
