Here were the only garters I saw at our local reptile expo today-- and I WANTED THEM lol!!!!!!! They are BEAUTIFUL, I think, but a little pricey (probably just pricey for me). I kept going back to them but I am getting Reed's ribbon snake and his red sided, :-), so I was a good girl and walked away...

I did spoil myself with two other snakes and will post about them in a minute as I'll be needing help!!!!

I know how you felt, Lori. I was at an Expo here yesterday myself. I vender I know had a trio of Garters for sale. Two looked like Texas Garters. He was up front with me and said they were a cross between Checkers and Texas. Great as they looked, I had to pass. Bright red dorsal strips.

can someone please tell me why the California red-sided (infernalis) is so much pricier than the Oregon red-spot (concinnus)
is it because they're harder to get?
I've not seen them in the flesh and in pictures I cannot see that much difference between the two

You could change the "$" for a "€" and will have the German price.
IŽve checked the exchange rate and saw that youŽll have to multiply Euro*1,45 to get the price in "$"

181,25
