Hello
a couple weaks ago one of my snakes was acting weard it was verry slow not active when i put him in quarantine he was doing better and he went back to normal again but just now i checked on him and i saw a strange thing he has 3 or 4 strange bumps on his body i dont know what they are
can somebody please help me with this??

Parasites, bacterial infection or cancer, for example.

I've always wondered how these lumps always afflict garters. :confused:

it was verry hard to make a picture i was able to make one but it isnt verry good but you can see the lump the white thing in the picture
should i visit a vet?

you're right - not very good pic
I don't think I've ever seen anything like that white lump
what is the texture like?
it looks fuzzy

Go to a vet or an experienced snakekeeper in your neighbourhood.

I've never seen anything like this :confused:
In the past we had some garters with little lumps. This was because the enclosure was too moist. Now we keep them very dry with a not very big waterbowl. We never had that problem since. But the lump on your ribbon is much bigger. So I'll advize you as well to go to a vet.

i agree. you actually have everyone stumped on this one so i too suggest you go to the vet.

Yikes... very blurry picture, but it looks like a parasite that has recently emerged from under the skin. What did the vet say?

i every one
i went to the vet and he sad it was a verry rare but deadly disease and he must have gotten 3 years ago and it was already to bad so he had to be euthanised :( it seems that he had gotten the diseas from his last owner because i only have this snake for like 2 years it is verry sad

the vet said it was some kind of verry rare parasite it seems that he have gotten it many years ago he said he had nver seen a snake with this kind of parasite at first he dind't knew it was a parasite but because it is on him for so long it was to late to save my snake :(

so sorry for your loss, gosh how sad.
we lose some good friends in our snakes . folks just do not get it when we talk about our snakes like we talk about our dogs or cats , but we understand that a loss hurts no matter what animal it is . gosh I remember crying when seattle slew died heart breaking my thaughts are with you..
