Hi Josh,

I´ve chosen the theme like this to make it possible for any keeper to give an entry to the contest.
Your picture shows garters varity in comparrison to the other entrys but some pictures will show variations like the example.
You´ve got a nice snake with interessting color.

Hahaaa, don't be silly Sjoerd :D The contest is far from closing, so anything can happen. We're just in the lucky position to have a lot of differend garters

Your photo is very brilliant again, Sabine.
I dont think even nobody can show more than a dozen more brilliant than you.
This may be an inspiration to those who had no entry yet.

Crap, the problem with me is that i don't have any really cool looking color morphs. Just a yellow morph and a white morph.

´orinoides?
Isn´t it that snake with the dark line thru thier eyes,
very unique and easy to define on this part of pattern?
You got two types of coloration, try to catch it!

No I don't think my snakes have lines through there eyes, if you want a look look at my gallery and my snakes are ordinoides not orinoides.

Here you can see the line and I could see it on your entry to the August Photo contest too. It is not as clear as this example because your specimens are darker colored.

None of them are related, but I've handpicked them by coloration like that. I love the color difference, even the green one. Unfortunately his colors don't show up that great in the pics. I wonder what the offspring will bring...;)

Some excellent photos this month, guys. I think Udo chose his topic well. I haven't entered yet, I'm still waiting for inspiration! Some of the entries, for example Stefan's (typically) understated and subtle entry will be hard to beat. That said, I have a week or more to come up with something, and if I do I will be trying to win!!!!!

My external hard drive's power supply failed. Can't get at any of the photos I've taken since June. :( The new one should arrive today and I really hope I guessed correctly that it isn't the drive itself that's broken.

Anyway, congratulations to the Winners. :)

Whoohoooo, we won !! :) It took a while, but finaly the victoryflag is on Dutch ground now :D
Thanks everybody for your votes.

I know this month it's gonna be hard for some, because some garters are in brumation already.....but good luck to all of you ;)

The theme will be TONGUES. So let's bring out some tongues !!

Good theme, Sabine. Of course the entries don't have to be new photos, you can dig up some old ones if it helps guys!

Of course I was right about the power supply being busted. :D

I haven't got any decent ones (well, not Garters anyway). I'll have to take a new one!
