If you keep finding blood I'd see a vet, could be an infection and need antibiotics......since theres blood I wouldn't play around and wait, thats my opinion though..............

I agree with Justin....If there's blood there, you're best to see a vet.

it all depends on the vet, and exotics usually cost more...........:)

First you should look for a vet who knows about reptilies.
If I need a vet here one visit will cost about 30,- to 100,- Euro per snake.
Prices differ between town and country but knowledge too.

anything other than mammals is considered exotic by vets

I'd go one step further and say anything other than cats or dogs is considered exotic by vets.

I was going to say that, but then I remembered live stock and guinea pigs

I was going to mention livestock, but I assumed we were just including pets. :D

Reed, I guess you need to try your local 'phone book. As we all live so far apart it's nearly impossible for us to tell where you should go or how much it might cost you. Just shop on the 'phone. Good luck, mate.

I know very well about vet costs in Germany but know nothing about costs in other countries.
To visit a vet is more expensive than to buy a normal garter for sure but how much?
Everybody should remember the cheapest part of snake keeping is to buy the snake.

I don't think that would cause blood in the urine though, thats usually a sign of infection, or some other internal problem........
