new to snakes...my first Garter!

After much research on snakes, my mom and I decided on a Garter, specificaly an Albino Checkered, sooo we had one tracked down and ordered in for us by a local Herp store, and I just picked him up. he's 5 weeks old, so I actually have no idea if he is a boy or girl lol. anyway his name is Rook, and I wanted to introduce the little guy!

this is my first snake, and I never even liked snakes before I started researching them lol, so I am sure I will have plenty of questions as time goes on :p

thanks for the welcome everyone! little Rook is quite the sweety, very playful. he's on my hand with me as I type :p he likes to hook he tail around my thumb, as he explores my hand. and he gets curious and always wants to see what goin on lol
