you can buy vents from the hardwear store with small enough hole to make it escape proof, or you could just use screening...thats what I did!!
I'm sure if you look at some of the viv. threads you'll find some idea's also....:)
yea iwent to lowes and they had a .5 inch piece of chip. 45x48 so i a thought id get it sawed it up when i got home.
i dont know what ill do about the vents yet.
how would i cut the holes?

with a jigsaw, you just drill a hole big enough for the blade to fit in and then you saw away.....:)

not a problem, its better if you mark off the area your cutting out, and then make the hole inside that area and cut out to the lines and the rest you should know.......:)
im using thes vents i got from my hamster cage

I bought the tracks from a glass company. I guess you could find them in the DIY department, too. I know some people make them by gluing two U-profile tracks together.
i put on a swivel top.
my own design
i just place my order for my glass.
7 dollars for 1/8 inch 20width 15 height

Looking good so far Josh. Circular vents like the ones you show can be fitted using a hole-saw of appropriate size. As for the sliding glass doors, I buy the plastic runners from the DIY store, then I get the glass cut to size at the glass merchants. I also get all the edges dressed and finger grips ground in.

this with the to closed.

then you slide it to the side and it opens

then on the top im going to cut a square out from the middle leaving 3 inches left on each side.
well guys i just picked up my glass im going to install satuday or so
