Hi, I figured since I'm new I would post some pictures and videos of the snake dens in Manitoba, Canada.

These are not the Narcisse snake dens, but a den around 15 minutes SE of them. This den is not protected and you can walk right into it. Not many people know about it and its exact location so it doesn't need protecting. :) I only live 15 minutes away from the den which is great, I really enjoy watching and taking photos of snakes in the wild.

These photos are very early spring, these snakes just got out of a seven month brumation, they are a little dusty!

Thanks!

Yes it is dust, the den is made of lime stone which is very chalky, especially under ground.

Most be great to live so close to some dens. Great pics and someday I'll go there to, someday... :)

Are you canadian or from the usa? Or are the dens this close to the us? Just a question because of the flag next to your name;)
