Hey Everyone,
I grew up in Ontario, loving viewing, catching and releasing our native red and yellow sided garter snakes in while hiking, and have cared for a number of other colubrid species, alongside pythons, skinks, invertebrates and tarantulas in our own miniature family circus.

It is only as of this Christmas that I'm now also a Garter Mom, and lucky enough to have brought a tiny CB San Francisco Garter Snake (Thamnophis sirtalis tetrataenia) into the family!
He's already thriving on silver-side pieces, and I'm taking care to make sure he gets everything he needs. I'm looking forward to giving my new growing boy an amazing setup worthy of his red and blue beauty.

Looking forward to learning more here too!
Hello to my fellow Canadians :D

Hello! I’m new too and still very much in the learning phase! I’m so jealous of your SF Garter! They’re illegal to own in the US or I’d have like a million of them by now! Such beauties!
