The dorsal stripe is actually much more orange than it appears in the photo, I guess the Sun has bleached the picture out a bit.

Yes, you can! The males' dorsal stripe is even more orange than that! Like a tangerine!:D

I checked back through the threads to see when she was born...26th April, so she's three and a half months old.:)

very very pretty snake!!!! I have a radix as well but an anerythristic morph and I must say that the wildcoloured ones are truly stunning!:)

Again, very nice colour variety! Stunning looking T.radix, makes all the "morphs" look crappy.....LOL.:p

I couldn't agree more. I'm not a fan of all the fancy "morphs" in any species. Give it me as nature intended every time!:rolleyes:

Good looking snakes. I like the bold stripes. I may have to think about getting some, but only after I get some Puget Sound garters.

I love the pictures. I love all the snakes.

Garters are such loveable cretures. Beauty, spunk, button eyes and 'smiles.' I am SO GLAD Winnie came into my life. She has enriched it so much with herself, me finding this place, and me getting garters. I just don't understand why more people don't adore garters. They're fabulous.
