This batch of scrubs is from a female Carteret Co. erythristic het snow bred by a male erythristic het golden, so they are all 66% possible hets for Schuett albino, melanistic, and golden. Ended up with 14 total babies, 7 high reds and 7 low red or normals. They are very large newborns.

Yes it will get busy. I love this time of year, flowers blooming, fish are biting, mushrooms and asparagus popping up, turkeys are gobbling and snake babies galore.

Awesome litter!! Wouldn't they be 50% poss hets? Since both parents share a percentage of being het then the offsprings chances of being het for what both parents contributed is usually measured @ 66%. If only one parent was het for a certain gene then the offspring would be or have a chance of being 50% het. I think... Lol.

Here is a better picture of the erythristic flames from this litter. There is a few really nice ones in the bunch. They are 50% possible het for Schuett albino, melanistic and golden.
Not a super high probability that they are het for all 3 in any given snake, but there is a good probability they are het for something, lol. These probably don't have good market value, but they would be a cheap fun gamble with lots of possibilities. I think they will be a fun breeding project so I will probably hold a couple back.

Some of those are indeed quite nice. I hope to purchase quite a few easterns from you later on after you've got these guys going and your other girls pop.
I like garters a lot but working with the other species I've realized I like eastern a lot more than average so I want to slim down on the species and bulk up on easterns.
