These two will be coming out of the brumation abyss at the end of the week. I am looking forward to great things from them soon.14525Both of them were my biggest, healthiest pair. Both have the wide orange dorsal striping and vivid patterning.

Thanks guys... They both look like they gained weight while brumating. If that's at all possible. Maybe just longer?

How long did you brumate?

How long did you brumate?. Put them down December 28th. Approximately 4 months now. They really do look a bit longer and larger but that may just be my vision. Lol. Low temp was about 46F for the greater part.

14624Guess this girl is full of babies! Haven't seen her so big ever. Hoping she has a 100% healthy, live litter. :) I'm thinking by the end of June she will drop.

This female is so huge and has been refusing food for 2 weeks now. I calculate that she should've dropped babies over 3 weeks ago. I hope she doesn't have a belly full of jellies /slugs!

Well, they're here! First generation eastern blackneck scrubs. The female was not pushing out any babies when I checked on her at 5 am. But now, at 10 am I see 10 scrubs wriggling around the back of the tub. Boy, do they look magnificent. I'll post some pics later today guys. Glad this girl had some decent production. What a roller coaster too! Haha.

14687On July 22nd I thought she would pop any day. So 8 days later really seemed like a eternity and I thought she was pretty late delivering but....this. I counted 11 live and no stills, jellies or deformities at the moment.

Wow, seems like it was worth the wait. They are stunning. Yes Q, it was worth it. Someone had said to me earlier today that when they had a garter snake that was late, she delivered larger babies! Ironically my girl delivered today. I thought that was good luck.

Got a better count of these little diamonds. Some of them are pretty large already right out of the membrane. Amazingly colored and patterned. I will start them out feeding on cut fish scented nightcrawlers.14688146891468911 total born..no slugs, jellies or deaths.
