Has anyone here or anyone you know, ever been allergic to the garter snake venom? Just curious.

Me, but it depends on if it was a bite or chew. I don't think I'm allergic but just more sensitive. I also think it depends on the species in some respects, many variables in your question.
My symptoms were itching and some swelling. It took 24 hours to return to normal on one occasion, that was an T. atratus - Santa Cruz Garter Snake chew. I remember the day well, as she chewed she had a smile on her face.
