So I'm rather inexperienced with snakes, having my current brown snake for nearly 2 months now. But recently i was surprised with a handful of neolates!! Now i also want to say that Faygo is wild caught so i do not know who the daddy is.
Anyway, i was wondering if i could get some advise!
My main worry is feeding them but i also want some advise on substrate, temp, etc.
And before i go i would also like to know is okay to keep the Mama in the same tank as the babies??
I am just nervous that Faygo might try to eat them though so far i haven't seen that happen. Thanks so much!!!

You can try feeding cut pieces of garden worms but that will be tough to keep up with, since that looks to be a good sized litter. My advice would be to let them go outside. Been there done that...with Dekays.

I have some experience with raising neonates. My first litter/clutch of S. dekayi were the smallest snakes I had ever worked with. They came at a time when slugs were hard to find and they refused earthworms. I took them to a local lake and released them in a swallow weeded area. Seconds after I released them they found snails and started pulling them out of their shells. It's probably best to release these tiny little scrubs. Mother nature knows best with these guys.
