http://www.thamnophis.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=13508&stc=1has finally come to a end! Decided to pull the trigger on a deal with Steven Bol for a blue puget sound male garter. The actual date this all began was mid- May and progressed through until the 25th of MAY when the ball really started rolling. This was accomplished quite frankly with the assistance of Mike Fedzen who played a very instrumental part in making it possible. Thanks Mike! The youngster arrived today looking very healthy and active out of the box. Nice coloration and great body tone. Thank you Steven! I will post other pics of him as he settles into the quarantine tub. The above pic is one taken by Mike Fedzen at his facility prior to shipping. Thanks again Mike for the assistance.

Niiiice.
Thank you Steve! This male is a young adult who is a proven breeder according to Steven Bol and has been maintained on his favorite food of smelt. I'm just keeping a close eye on him throughout the quarantine period.

Awesome looking!!
Thanks Ed. He is so fast. It's amazing how he seems to almost fly at times.

Thanks Ashley! i appreciate the compliments. He obviously is a quality animal that has come quite the distance so i am hoping all goes well through the quarantine period. I know the success in breeding t.s. pickeringii can be challenging but we'll see. :)

Yeah, it has been close to two years waiting. Thanks. I am still in the market for two more females. So, for sure that sounds like a plan. This male will be quarantined for 90 days. So it will be uphill for me for now. Thanks again.

Actually, no. The acquisition was made fairly easy by Steven Bol and Mike Fedzen. And now with a 90 day quarantine my potential production is pushed back, but at least they are both adults.

I am planning to get back to vending but my production has to pick up first. You know, you have to have specimens or products for your table. Hamburgh and White Plains as well as Hudson Valley are all on my radar.
