Im a newb in the snake keeping world and for my first snake I'm seeking out a garter for the specific reason that it can specialize on other foods besides rodents. I'll be interested in just about any morph I can get, but aesthetically speaking I really like the blue sides and the melanistics. im hoping to find a current breeder, as all the sites ive found for garter breeders seem like they havent been updated in a year at least. Id be willing to buy shipped but id rather buy locally. sex doesnt matter, and I can wait for a new litter if need be so I have time to get a tank ready.
