Has anyone ever read what the record is for T sirtalis sirtalis litter size?
Guess how many babies Tigerlily had today!
I will answer that question and post pics after we return from our travel this weekend!:p

Congratulations KITKAT, that's a lot of mouths to feed!
I have to call wildlife and check out their rules. I may only be allowed to keep four, in which case the rest will be fed once (for sure) and then released into good habitat near my house.
Congratulation! That's a nice size brood.
CongO grats Kitkat, yours did much better then Midge. My only girl. I did not know she was gravid. She had 5 but the first 4 did not shed :( the 5th is alive:D and, yes it is cornie;), is named Five.

Well... I just spent over a half of a day feeding the little ones! I had to see each one eat, so I know who the non-eaters are.
I put them all in a bucket, dropped in fish and earthworm pieces, and sat and watched... and watched... and watched...
Each time someone had a lump, or I saw someone grab a piece of food and swallow it, I transferred them back to their enclosure.
In the end, I force fed earthworm parts to five non-eaters, and kept them seperate. All the rest ate either minnow chunks or earthworm pieces readily.
