I've been trying to buy this snake since the guy contacted me via email a month ago, but no luck cutting a deal yet. Kind of cool looking, and kind of ugly at the same time.

Do you know if its from the same area that the earlier piebald was found?

Sweet! Is it an eastern? It's hard to tell by the pics. The pied markings remind me of the buttermilk racers!

Please tell me this was not in Penna. Lol. He's definitely been eating well. Is it male or female?:)

Stub tail. Hard to sex with just an overhead photo. I'd go with Female. If I'm wrong then I say male:D

Much less white than the other one if I remember correctly.
Good luck with getting it in your hands :)

Female would be my guess too Steve. It looks like she might be missing the end of the tail.

Reminds me of the cappuccino Jelly Bellies...Still interesting, certainly odd.

C'mon guys, just pop it or probe it. Simple. Haha.

It's not in any of our possession. I wouldn't suggest popping a snake that size.

Popping and probing are safe as long as the prober and or popper are learned in the procedure. It was just a suggestion. Breeders and handlers that are familiar with the procedures do it all the time safely on adult and juvenile and hatchlings alike. You must know your landmarks and the anatomy of the reptile.

I've never liked popping snakes of any size. I'll palpate them though. Probing is still superior as far as % error; well, then of course there's ultrasound and endoscopy, but why go that far. I'm babbling because that's a very neat snake; I don't know how I didn't see this thread earlier.

In any case, I hope Jeff can obtain him/her. I think it's a amazing looking reptile. I would love to have some of of those babies! Lol.
