Update on my 2 dekay's!

I am so excited, I have two happy, silly, slug eating dekays!
They have both shed and are looking quite handsome.
They are definitely warming up to me. (hooray for not getting musked anymore).

I was beginning to lose hope on being able to keep them, it was going on 2 weeks with no eating. I dug and found lots of great feeding tips on this site and others by Wayne(thank you!)

I put them in a cooler room, fed them at night and left . Woke up to no slugs and a bunch of poop!
We did this once again with the same results, tonight they were being extra social and let me watch! :D

I just wanted to say thanks for this site and help, I couldn't have done it without you. p

Good job!! I love the light brown colors. Very pretty. I live in St. Louis and the Dekayi I have found and keep are more grey and dark brown.

fantastic. now you gotta find a way to feed them when the cold weather comes as little slugs wont be around, something to think about. im so happy they ate for you. i love brownies, had babies last year, they are a delight.

It is still fairly warm here in Chicago so I am planning a slug and worm expedition for this weekend. I WILL have enough for the winter! :)
