I still have five of my hybrids, and I want to figure out the gender so I can keep them from reproducing.

God I almost thought you said "keep them for reproducing"......I was all like somebody is getting crucified ><

As far as sexing, here's my guesses:
1. F
2. M
3. M
4. F
5. F

Would help if the pictures weren't blurry though so I knew where the ventral scales begin on some of em. I know I know it's tough to get focuses shots on these squirmy little buggers.

Lol! No I would never breed them. I tried my best to get clear shots, but they just don't like having their pictures taken. and thank you for your opinion on this.

Probing and popping is the most definitive way to sex a snake. Especially young snakes. How old are these guys? Grossly observing, they all look female except the second pic. Very difficult to be absolutely sure by just viewing the tail shape and length and tapering. Harder in younger snakes

I've seen videos and I've tried it on my adult male checkered but I couldn't do it. Idk if I wasn't using enough pressure or what.

You really don't need a lot of pressure to pop so be careful if you do it bc you can injure the snake if you do it incorrectly. Maybe get a experienced person to show you first few times to be safe.

It's all about your landmarks on the snake. I think that's my problem. I'm to scared to hurt them. But I'm not going to try it anymore until I have someone personally show me how to do it. I Would feel terrible if I hurt them.

adults are super hard to pop. its very easy to tell what sex an adult is. babies on the other hand dont have the strenth to hold back so it pops out or it dosent. once you pop one you will be a pro

I'd suggest not worrying about sexing them for another 6-8 months. 1,4,5, are female for sure. 2,3 I'm on the fence about. Time will sort those two out.
