ACHROMATIC
- literary means "without color"
- Achromatic colors, "greys" or "neutral colors", also black

Wouldn't achromatic mean without chromatophores? AFAIK chromatophores aren't even an actual pigment (they don't have a specific color) but more they are cells that reflect and refract light (they are involved in the rainbow sheen of rainbow boas).

I didn't come up with the name, just the tease. ;)
I know nothing about boas or achromatic lens in photography. I'm just using the definitions found on line.

Haha... True, but after trying to figure out what the heck BP morphs like 'clown' and 'killer bee' mean genetically, it still sounds pretty descriptive lol.
