Near heart attack (or the downside to newspaper bedding)

So first off, I use newspaper for bedding. Quick, free, and the snakes love hiding under it. I just went in to check on my babies, and when I opened up one of the tanks I almost had a heart attack. I saw what appeared to be massive amounts of blood smeared in with poop.

Only after frantically checking over my snake did I realize that he had pooped on an advertisement for cranberry juice.


I just felt like that's a story that needed to be shared.
