The "Gray Phase" Dekayi I found on the edge of the road had seven healthy babies this AM. Tiny little things. Thought some of you might enjoy the photo.

Snaky, The hand isn't massive, it's attached to my 110 lb. frame. Just zoomed close enough to see the tiny snake.

Update to everyone- went to the yard for seriously tiny worms or slugs. Found the "Red phase" gravid Dekayi I removed from another home a couple of weeks ago....two babies with her!!

Now if my gravid sirtalils has been keeping notes....

Very cute little snakes.....good luck raising them....I see many hours looking for worms and tiny slugs.:cool:

The Dekayi snakes main diet is earthworms and slugs. As tiny as they are, I'm releasing them here in my yard. I have habitat setup for them where their food is readily avalible, plenty of cover for them to give the best chance of survival.

I love Storeria. I've kept them a long time ago for a few years. I fed the young with small worms.
