The front cover of "Reptiles" magazine features a photo from Jeff Benfer. Pg. 26-33 is an article written by Jeff which also features many photos of his beautiful snakes.

Thanks Steve and everyone, just got my copy in the mail too and I was shocked to see if was front cover. I figured something else would get precedence over the garter. About time the garter gets the front :)
I hope you enjoyed the article. Keep in mind that even as the author I did not have complete freedom to write about whatever I wanted and was guided by the editor to some degree. There were certain topics that were requested to be covered, so I did my best with them.

Thanks Joe and Dan, not sure if the November issue is in stands yet though. I believe they usually send out to the subscription holders early.

Jeff what brick and mortar retailers typically carry the magazine? I'd like to buy it. Barnes and Noble? PetsMart would make sense I guess.

I know PetsMart, Petco and most small local pet shops carry it. Not sure about Barnes and Noble or Walmart though, they are more hit and miss about what they will have on any given month. I think you can get single copies online, but I haven't looked into that. Often, at reptiles shows I see a booth with current Reptiles Magazine and back issues available too .
