Hello again,

so, everything has settled a bit, Aphrodite went through her first (and successful/complete) shed at her new home (she moved into the new terra only one day before her eyes turned cloudy, so she didn't get to see a lot of it until today :D)

So here it is; 85/40/55 in centimeters. Aphrodite is a little climber, so the extra height actually does more good than harm in this case. She loves to slither along the roots and her favorite place/ bedroom is inside the fake ivy. The extra glas bowl you see was only temporary to increase humidity during the shed.

Do you see anything that could be improved?

I really feel like she loves to have so much space (and compared to her tiny size it is in fact huge) to call her own. The last days she remained alarmingly inactive, but after the shed she is back to her normal curious self.

Anyway, what do you think? :)

Looks good. What heat source are you using?

Only the basking spot on top (Lucky Reptile 35W halogen bulb). Max temps are around the high 20s (Celsius), the rest lower and depending on room temp. So far she seems to like it like that..

I would recommend a hot spot to be warmer. If you are are on the low end of the 20's then I would say for sure to up the temp. I use lower 90's F for a hot spot. This allows the snakes to thermoregulate on a higher and lower temp scale.
Just my opinion.

Max temps are around the high 20s (Celsius) ;) talking about something around 85 Fahrenheit. However, the 35w bulbs were experimental and I already bought some 50w bulbs just to try how much it would affect the basking temps. Along comes a better "on the spot" thermometer which should give me more accurate numbers.
The rest I believe would be around 25 Celsius in general, might be cooler at the places that are far away from the lamp. However, the climate in Germany is killing me anyway...

Hope this is okay?

Best to experiment with different bulbs. The snake will let you know when you've got it's favorite temp/s.
