So I have not been on here to post in a bit and have lots to cover so thought I would toss it all in here under general. I found a male albino in the yard last summer and thought when the time was right I would pair him up with my wild caught female that started this garter obsession. The best laid plans going the way they do, the male was my first ever escape artist and to this day he has not shown himself. So wanting to make sure my girls gene gets passed along to some offspring I paired her up with my high red male. The couple locked up around March 13th, it's been awhile but I did pm Steve that day so maybe he remembers for sure. Butterscotch (the female) has moved along amazingly for her first time and got as big as a house. Today the litter has arrived! Fifteen in all (I think) no stillborns and no jellies. So knowing you guys the way I do, Pics are coming. To see Blaze (the proud papa) or Butterscotch you could check older posts but I will try to get some new ones up of them as well. Mom pounded a huge nightcrawler when she was done and the little ones have been moved to their new home. We will see who thrives and who does not in the next several weeks but I'm pretty happy for this being the first time I or one of my snakes has done this. So more updates to come now the real work begins.

So way over due for this update but here goes. First off the litter count was wrong, the grand total ended up being 28. Don't ask how I ended up off by that many, no idea. In the last four months or so there was only one loss to the litter. It was the runt of the bunch and my hopes for it were not great from the start. The other 27 are doing amazing. Many meals, many sheds, and some of this bunch are really starting to show some red. All of this litter are 100% her for T+ albino. My first thought on the matter was to hold back the entire litter, and my wife didn't even argue, but commen sense over time has set in and I really don't need this many extra mouths to feed. So tomorrow the game plan is to post a bunch of pics of the litter, as well as dad and mom, and if anyone has any plans to add some 100% albino hets, some red plains hets at that, send me a pm and we can work something out. My wife would like to see them all go, but I figure if I part with 15 of them that still gives me 12 to work with down the road. Pics tomorrow.

Pics as promised. The red male radix is an awesome example of what these babies could look like. It would figure that the day I chose to do pictures, the majority of the babies are deep in shed. I can provide updated pics post shed if anyone would like. Let me know if any of you are interested in calling one of these your own! Send me a PM and we'll figure something out.
