I was getting Emily my biggest female out for some pictures for my other post and she kinda spit up some water. Could this be from drinking recently, or from the fish i fed last night? I don't handle any of them much(but that might change soon) I enjoy watching them more than anything but do like to handle them occasionally. Is this normal or should I worry, it was only water and none of the fish that was fedthenight before come up. I just thought she had probably just had a drink, what do you guys think?

As long as it's not a regular thing I would not worry. She could have had some in her mouth or esophagus from a recent trip to the water bowl. As always, watch for symptoms of something else going on... appetite, stool consistency, activity level, normal posture etc.

Ok that's what I figured when i fed them she was her normal self and gobbled her steelhead trout like a champ and I keep a good eye for poop in the enclosure but I'll still keep an eye on her for a bit just to be sure.

Sounds like bad timing on your part, more then likely. I've had a few garter spring a leak once in awhile.:D

Not necessarily a problem, but keep an eye on her. I had one that died recently that would spit up water often (I believe there was kidney damage involved, and that was causing her to drink a lot of water). In all likelihood you just surprised her right after drinking.
