Whoop new babies these are low red sided but both parents are poss het for melanistic, I know it's very early but a couple look very black, so fingers crossed!10417 10418 12 babies and 1 very small slug

They are beautiful. Looks like that newborn shed is under way.

As you say, early days, but I'd be quietly confident that there is a melanistic in there.
