i said id get a picture of the underside of my wild caught garter. i thought it was a boy but maybe you guys can help. best picture i could get yesterday i was rather busy and it was about to use the bathroom on me haha

it's hard to tell, but it looks to me like a young male because I don't see much of a taper. Young garters are a little harder to visually sex than adults. I'm pretty sure it's a male though.

Looking at the photo I see male in the head/neck structure and overall body symmetry.

This should be the "post your male" thread :) Nice parietalis. Interesting belly pattern. I regularly see blue/grey to completely black and everything inbetween; never with yellow marbling. What locality?
