Could we potentially get a new means of rotating the portal pic? Those are beautiful snakes but the picture is getting old. Perhaps a picture with the most Likes in a particular time period?

Yeah it would be nice to have some change in the picture department.

Here are some ideas:

1. A randomizer script in the page code that loads a past contest winner pic every time someone logs on. A database of pics may be required.

2. Once a month, a designated moderator can pick a pic randomly from the site - possibly giving contest winners priority consideration - to post on the front page.

they said awhile back they wouldnt change it lol the forum seems to have died down a bit from when i joined imo. i think a photo contest would be good to get people more involved

Thanks to social media most forums went the way of the Dodo, every single forum I was on many years ago is 10x smaller or dead now. I don't think anything will stop the inevitable.

I think we should have a new contest. The best picture of a garter that Scott Felzer produced!!
This forum would not exist without his hard work and dedication to the hobby.

I agree, I have many photos of his garters saved in my garter snake folder. It's a shame whatever is going on with him, I would love to know what happened.
