im not sure what you would be best feeding but the jist i have got off everyone is small pieces of fish and worms don't quote me on that though.
also i hope you are in the process of taking pics :D looking forward to seeing them. what type of Garters do you have?

I feed my new born Garters small guppies (live), small Rosie minnows (live) and small night crawlers. Have not had any problems.

And congradulations on the new ones.:D

You were right in all you said, Lulu!:D Live whole fish or fish pieces are a good starter food. Once they're eating they can be weaned onto scented pinky parts.

nightcrawlers are generally bigger than baby garters...need to be cut up or youinger nightcrawlers fed. they are mostly water and will pass fast and make a big mess!!!!! they are great for scenting pinkies and parts for ones eating worms...gets them eating rodents faster.
