What a Lousy Summer

Our little erythristic eastern garter died (never was a good eater,) my ADFs all died, we sold our Western Hognose and received and rehomed an Eastern Box Turtle. But even worse, my dad died at the end of July and his mom just three weeks later. We had a third funeral in the family, but it was my step-sister's MIL, and I never met her. Our marching band season is almost over. I'm still working two jobs and waiting to see how the government shutdown will affect me. Right now we are working on last year's contract that expires at the end of the month. Help! Calgon, take me away...

I used to be a tequila girl, but I know better now! Staying busy with both jobs, volunteering for all the band mom things and reading, a Lot! I'm over 210 books so far this year, and my housekeeping shows it!
