Please help us to identify a snake. We found this baby snake in our garage. It is about 12 inches long. We live in Northern VA.
We are afraid that it can be a baby Timber Rattlesnake.
Thank you!

In my opinion there is a lot that says it isn't a baby Timber. The tail should be more short and stubby with a button or two at the end. The overall length and girth of the snake is wrong along with the lateral blotching. I am in no way an expert of this species(heck, I'm not an expert on anything) but it doesn't look like a baby timber to me. Please wait of other more learned members to help with the ID.
Here's a video I found of some baby Timbers.

It's a harmless ratsnake (Pantherophis sp.).
